Real Estate YouTubeWhy would REALTORS ® want to setup a YouTube channel? We get this question every week or so (usually when we are talking about our Real Estate Video feature) so we thought we would share our answer:

1) YouTube is the second largest search engine: this means that after Google people go to YouTube to find answers and help. If you don’t have a video presence, you just cut yourself out of the world’s second largest search engine.

2) 50% of YouTube users make more than $50k per year: Half of YouTube users make enough money to afford a decent home in most markets. Combine this with number one above and these users are going to turn to YouTube to search for their next home.

3) 64% of YouTube users are between 25 and 64 years of age: More than half of YouTube’s users fall into the most active home buying demographics. From first time home buyers all the way up to empty nesters looking to sell their current home and downsize.
