Reset Facebook Settings

Hi. Adam Small here from Agent Sauce, and today we are going to talk about how to reset your Facebook social media settings. You would do this if you wanted to maybe add a new page or remove a page from your autopost settings.

As you can see, I am already logged in to the Agent Sauce portal here, and I am on the social media tab. What I’m gonna do is I’m just gonna confirm that we actually have a page set up on the Facebook tab, and we do. It’s Agent Sauce’s page right here.

Now if I want to change this, maybe add another page to it, I would come up here to my Facebook tab, as you can see I’m already logged into Facebook, and in Facebook I would click on this little caret over here to the right and scroll down to the settings link and click on it. Then on this general account settings page, I would go over here to the bottom left and click on the business integrations link.

This shows me all of the apps that are integrated with my business account here. As you can see, we’ve got our Agent Sauce app right here. I’m just gonna check that box and I’m gonna hit the remove button, and it’s gonna ask me to confirm that I want to remove it. I’m gonna go ahead and say yes. Then after that, I’m gonna click done because it’s saying hey, it’s been removed.

Now when I go back over here to the Agent Sauce site, I can hit the refresh button and what’s gonna happen is it’s gonna reload and we’re gonna see an error box pop up, and it’s gonna tell us to reintegrate with our Facebook integration. Now hey, I’ve got an error. It’s either expired or been reset. We’ll need to reauthorize, so I’ll just close that, come over here to my social media accounts page and again, on the Facebook tab, and it says again, hey, we’ve got a problem so we need to redo it.

So, I just click on set up Facebook integration. I’m gonna go ahead and continue as me, and then I’m just gonna choose what I want to allow here. The reason I’m doing this is because this allows me to pick and choose the pages that I manage that we integrate with. So, I’m gonna choose. I’m gonna allow manage the business to stay, and I’m gonna manage the pages to stay, but I’m gonna deactivate and only select the pages that I want. So, I’m gonna select Agent Sauce and Real Estate Marketing Minute here.

The same thing goes for publishes pages. I’m just gonna deactivate the pages I don’t want, leave the two that I want and I’m gonna hit the okay button. This is gonna redirect us back to Agent Sauce and on our Facebook integrations page, and as it loads, you’ll be able to see that we have now the Real Estate Marketing Minute as well as Agent Sauce. So, we were able to deactivate our Facebook integration settings and re-add them and add a second page.
